Credit point is awarded where either potable water used for landscape irrigation has been reduced by 90%, or a xeriscape garden has been installed.

Product may contribute as an individual component, in combination with other suitable components, in meeting the requirements of Wat-4: Landscape Irrigation Water Efficiency.

Wat-4: Heat Rejection Water Product is likely to assist in a project obtaining credit points as it helps reduce potable water consumption from heat rejection systems. Credit points are achieved based on the percentage reduction of potable water consumption, or where no water based heat rejection water system is used, the building is naturally ventilated or Mechanically Assisted Naturally Ventilated (MANV) in accordance with prescribed requirements.

Wat-4 Note 1: Heat Rejection Water Product is likely to assist in a project obtaining credit points as it helps reduce potable water consumption from heat rejection systems. Credit points are achieved based on the percentage reduction of potable water consumption, or where no water based heat rejection water system is used, the building is naturally ventilated or Mechanically Assisted Naturally Ventilated (MANV) in accordance with prescribed requirements. Product may assist individually or in combination with other products/systems is reducing potable water consumption, or providing naturally ventilation or MANV.

Wat-5: Fire System Water Product is likely to assist in a project obtaining credit points as it contributes to the reduction of potable water for the buildings fire protection and essential water storage systems. Credit points are achieved when sufficient temporary storage for a minimum of 80% of routine fire protection system test water and maintenance drain-downs for re-use on site and each floor is fitted with a sprinkler system is provided in accordance with prescribed requirements. Or where the fire protection system does not expel water for testing.

Credit points are achieved when sufficient temporary storage for a minimum of 80% of routine fire protection system test water and maintenance drain-downs for re-use on site and each floor is fitted with a sprinkler system is provided in accordance with prescribed requirements. Or where the fire protection system does not expel water for testing. Product may assist individually or in combination with other products/systems in providing temporary storage systems, re-use systems or sprinkler systems to be used for purposes explained above.

Wat-8 Note 1: Swimming Pool/Spa Water Efficiency Product may assist in a project obtaining credit points by the use of water efficient pool filtration technology. Points are awarded where a pool blanket has been installed and potable water consumption has been reduced by 70% in accordance with prescribed requirements. Product may contribute as an individual component, in combination with other suitable components, in reducing potable water consumption used for swimming pools by 70% as either an efficient filtration system or water treatment system in accordance with prescribed requirements.
